This week marked two separate celebrations – both coinciding with the 12th full moon of our year (or the 2nd of the Lanna year). Loi Krathong is when offerings are floated down the river, and Yee Peng is when lanterns are launched into the sky. Both are a show of respect to Buddha, and a way of releasing your problems and worries. Starting a fresh!
