After what seemed like a very long journey from Santiago de Compostela I reached my destination. France. Montpellier to be precise. I was met by my dear friend Richard. We had forged our friendship amongst an amazing community in Chiang Mai and now I was to be a guest at his home in Les Saintes Marie de la Mer, Camargue. Santiago de Compostela to Montpellier with a stop off in Barcelona (May 2014)
Having completed the Camino de Santiago in Northern Spain I decided to take up a friend's offer to stay in Camargue, France. Finding my way there at that time of year wasn't as straightforward as I thought but in the end I managed to book a train ticket. I would be travelling over land. I love train travel!
